What is a Mobilizer?

We can say they catalyze activity in a certain direction. These are the ones who lead the charge, bring us along, and empower specific areas of ministry across our regions. Within Vineyard USA, this leadership initiative is designed to add vital support to local churches. Our regional mobilizers recruit, support, encourage, and listen to their cohorts. They serve itinerantly and provide a bridge for meaningful connection, pastoral care, and communication.

Please see that your church stays connected with the regional mobilizers for your church health and for our Region. We honor these gifted, dedicated leaders who serve at no pay. Their reward is the participation and empowerment of each local church in their field.

Our Regional Mobilizers include:

Missions Mobilizers: Duke and Marie Lancaster. Interim pastors at Lancaster Vineyard, Ohio. Their role is to aid local churches throughout the process of discernment, establishment, or connection with a Vineyard Missions Partnership, helping congregations pool resources for a significant global Kingdom impact.

Youth Mobilizer: Chase Smith. Youth and Worship Pastor, Grove City Vineyard, Grove City, Ohio. Gifted in leading leaders through hands-on relationships, resourcing, and gathering young adults and students, Chase is focused on creating a cohesive youth leader community, building a culture of unity, and continuing God's work across the region.

Kids Mobilizer: Bethany Robertson. Director, Vineyard Kids, Vineyard Cincinnati, Ohio Bethany works closely with our leaders to share vision and provide resources, striving to connect kids pastors within the region to provide mutual support and help children cultivate a deep, life-transforming relationship with God.

Church Planting Mobilizer: Matt Massey, Lead Pastor, Executive Leadership Vineyard Cincinnati, Ohio. Matt works to inspire, empower, and celebrate new church plants and sending churches, casting a strategic vision to help produce and cultivate new congregations throughout the region.

Worship Mobilizer: Julie Morgan, Co- Pastor Delaware City Vineyard, Delaware, Ohio. Julie fosters connection among worship leaders, provides resources, and encourages unity in worship practices across the region to help create environments where congregations can encounter God.
