What is a Mobilizer?

Mobilizers are regional or specialized leaders who connect, equip, and resource local church ministries. They serve specific groups — youth pastors, kids' ministry leaders, global mission teams — by sharing best practices, building community, and pooling resources for citywide, regional, and international impact.

Simply put, mobilizers catalyze activity in a certain direction. They lead the charge, bring us along, and empower specific areas of ministry across our regions.Within Vineyard USA, this leadership initiative adds vital support to local churches.

Our regional mobilizers recruit, encourage, and listen to their cohorts. Serving itinerantly, they provide a bridge for connection, pastoral care, and communication between churches and the wider region.

Our Regional Mobilizers include:

Missions Mobilizers: Duke and Marie Lancaster. Their role is to aid local churches throughout the process of discernment, establishment, or connection with a Vineyard Missions Partnership, helping congregations pool resources for a significant global Kingdom impact.

Youth Mobilizer: Chase Smith. Gifted in leading leaders through hands-on relationships, resourcing, and gathering young adults and students, Chase is focused on creating a cohesive youth leader community, building a culture of unity, and continuing God's work across the region.

Kids Mobilizer: Bethany Robertson. Bethany works closely with our leaders to share vision and provide resources, striving to connect kids pastors within the region to provide mutual support and help children cultivate a deep, life-transforming relationship with God.

Church Planting Mobilizer: Matt Massey. Matt works to inspire, empower, and celebrate new church plants and sending churches, casting a strategic vision to help produce and cultivate new congregations throughout the region.
